Nearly seven years ago, broadcast history was made during a local news teaser on WNBC in New York City. I missed it, but was notified later while using a San Francisco Public Library computer to read out-of-town news.  There were also online updates to the event which I suspected were based on speculation. Some of them were pretty funny, though.
